Artificial Flowers
Flowers tend to get dusty easily but are difficult to clean. Pour a half cup of salt into a paper bag and then the flowers. As you continue to vigorously shake the bag, the salt will absorb all the dust and dirt. Your flowers will look new when you're done.
Candle Holders
To remove old wax from the inside of a glass candle holder, just put it inside your freezer for a few hours. When you take it out, flip it upside down and the wax will fall right out.
Crayon on the Wall
Wet a cloth with warm water and dip it in baking soda or toothpaste. It will wipe off easily without damaging your paint.
Microwave
Cut a lemon in half and put it inside a bowl filled with 1 cup of water in the microwave. Microwave the lemon and water for one minute, then let stand for five. The steam and oils of the lemon will make it easy to clean and remove any odours.
Pots & Pans: Caked on Food
Fill the pot or pan with warm water and a drop or two of dish washing liquid, then bringing them to a boil on the stove. Once the water boils, remove the pan from the heat, dump the water and cleaning it should be effortless.
Scuffs on Shoes
Use a cotton ball soaked in non-acetone nail polish remover and lightly buff it over your shoe's scuff. It will easily come off. This works well with patent leather and leather shoes, but I recommend patch testing first.
Plastic Containers
Spray the inside with Pam cooking spray before using anything tomato based inside it. After it's used, you can clean it easily without any red stains.
Streak Free Windows
Use vertical strokes when washing the outside and horizontal for the inside. This way you can tell which side has the streaks. Don't wash windows on a sunny day as they will dry too quickly and be likely to streak.
